The "Quote" (:

“ Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing.”

                                                           -  Abraham Lincoln

I choose this quote because what it says is just what i said to myself once. What this means is that you make your own decision in life. its all up to yourself if you want to choose the right. if someone else tell you something negative you should let that make you be more successful in life. becoming successful it could be very challenging but at the end it all pays of because that determines your future as well this quote for example, always carry with you that positive , and high esteem in your head and you will get far. If you always have the positive thinking in your mind you would be a very successful person and don't let the negatively bring you down. if you try to do something and you think you try hard to do whatever you did next time try even harder. getting through tough obstacles in life makes you a stronger person. Be successful by choosing the right!

Having Sportsmanship!

If your into sports you've seen it before, and if you play sports you have probably lived it before. Well anyways have you ever seen football players shaking hands after knocking each other down hard during the game. In soccer they always exchange jersey after playing an intense 90 minute game. Basketball players also hand shaking after the 4 quarters win or loose they always shake hands. All this is part of having sportsmanship  and always happens in sports or any other competition that means playing clean and not having to cheat to win fairly. The way i take sportsmanship in the sport i love the most (basketball) is by taking having sportsmanship as a main rule. It feels really good after knowing you have won the match by following the rules of the game, playing fair, respecting the refs. and officials and most important respecting your opponents. Winning or loosing sportsmanship helps you get through, make the sport you play fair and fun. Learning good sportsmanship means finding that positive attitude about yourself learned on the field or court and that attitude carries with you to other areas of life. In school for example your able to appreciate your classmates contributions and playing the game is almost the same as school working together with classmates to complete a project, well in the court or field you need to work as a team to win its not a one person thing.   "Defeat with grace, style, and dignity" --Christopher Cruz

My Gobble Gobble Day!

My thanksgiving week off was really great! we got the whole week of of school and we got what i called it a mini vacation but only if it would of been for more.lol well on the first day of that week off my fam. and i planed to see what we were going to do on thanksgiving day and where we were going to gather up at. some of our family members couldn't show up that day so we just called them. On that week off i also watch almost all the college football games like alabama vs auburn wen alabama blew that 24 point lead. i also watch USC loose too Noter Dame, which was a disappointment! they were some very intense games. i always watch of course what i love best basketball but i was also disappointed because lakers lost. on my thanksgiving break i also had to come too practice at 11 am. but not all the days on monday and wednesday, and not forgetting the alumni game. it was an exciting game even though we came up short, but we gave them a challenge and ended up loosing by 10 points.
On thanksgiving day my mom and i went out to the market and bought things we were going to need for later on that night. Meanwhile back at home the turkey was getting ready.(: my mom cook turkey, smash potatoes, ham and made cheesecake pies also and everything was just so delicious :D. Later on that night of course the one and only black friday night so my older brother and i couldn't miss out on that day so we decided to leave a little early because we were going to some outlets that were kind of far in the city of Cabazon outlets. when we were arriving there it was just so shocking how packed it was! it was just so shocking and unbelievable. i bought lots of stuff but i got sick because it was 30 degrease cold over there and i was freezing but i guess i could say it was worth it.:)
what a thanksgiving week.<3

Mexican cartels

Although Mexico has a president, police, federals etc. the country now finds itself in a war against very powerful and financed drug cartels. More than 28,000 people have been killed in the past 4 years that president Felipe Calderon began his offensive against the nation’s drug organizations, with the cartel violence over turf and dominance as the federal police and military try to stamp them out and are having a lot of trouble because the drug traffickers also smuggle american guns across the Mexican border into Mexico. Mexican drug cartels are allegedly hiring hitmen as young as 12 years old to kill rivals and, failing that, random people such as taxi drivers and even construction workers. Mexican police are looking for a boy, thought to be about 12, nicknamed "El Ponchis" the Cloak who allegedly kills people for the Beltran Leyva cartel. This comes after the arrest of another boy, thought to be about the same age, for working as a hitman for the South Pacific cartel outside of Mexico City.
